Crypto currencies are getting popular and there are several misunderstandings in the market. For example, since Bitcoin protocol has no “encryption” but signing with algorithms of ECDSA Signing and ECDSA Verification. Many articles mention that Bitcoin uses ECC algorithms to encrypt the transaction data, this is wrong! To protect the “Private Key” may need cryptographic encryption, but it doesn’t belong to Bitcoin Protocol therefore users need to protect the keys by themselves. Thus a digital wallet is very important for a crypto currency.
