The color thermostat with Wi-Fi connectivity is developed on the Nuvoton N9H MPU platform. It supports to get local weather from the Internet by USB Wi-Fi and remote monitor feature by VNC. Nuvoton N9H MPU series is a complete HMI solution. The series with ARM926EJ-S core can operate up to 300 MHz and integrated JPEG codec, 2D graphic accelerator, and TFT LCD controller supporting resolution up to 1024x768 pixels and color depth up to 16 million colors (24-bit). Not Recommended for New Design (NRND) Recommended Part Number : NuMaker-HMI-N9H20 NuMaker emWin N9H Series Nuvoton offers the emWin platform which is embedded with Nuvoton N9H MPU, it provides complete HMI solutions which are further enhanced by the emWin software, supporting resolution up to 1024x768 pixels. The N9H series with ARM926EJ-S core can operate at up to 300 MHz and can drive up to 1024x768 pixels in parallel port. It integrated TFT LCD controller and 2D graphics accelerator, up to 16 million colors ( 24-bit ) LCD screen output, and provides high resolution and high chroma to deliver gorgeous display effects. To play compressed video in HMI screens smoothly, the N9H series is equipped with H.264 video decompression engine. It also offers built-in voice decoder, which can streamline the peripheral circuits of HMI applications with sound playback. It embedded up to 64 MB DDRII SDRAM, along with ample hardware storage and computing space for excellent design flexibility.

The N9H series is based on the ARM926EJ-S core. The series includes N9H20, N9H26 and N9H30 with CPUs operating at up to 200 MHz , 264 MHz and 300 MHz respectively. It uses Multi Chip Package ( MCP ) with SDRAM stacked, size ranging from 2 MB to 32 MB, which significantly reduces PCB size and electromagnetic interference ( EMI ) to minimize system design efforts and shorten the product design cycle time. The N9H series BSP ( Board Support Package ) comes with licensed industrial leading emWin embedded GUI library, which contains emWin library, samples, tools and documents. Nuvoton licensed it from SEGGER to allow developers to create smooth, professional, high quality Human Machine Interfaces ( HMI ) quickly and efficiently on N9H series free of charge. In order to maximize the design flexibility for LCD based display applications, the N9H series also provides built-in 24-bit TFT RGB interface with resolution support up to 1024x768, 2D graphics accelerator, MJPG/ H.
