- Install the preferred toolchain. Ensure that at least one of the following toolchains is installed:
- Download and install the latest Nuvoton Nu-Link driver:
- For Keil MDK: Download and install Nu-Link_Keil_Driver.
- For IAR EWARM: Download and install Nu-Link_IAR_Driver.
- Download and extract the Board Support Package (BSP) or Motor Drive Example Code.
- Hardware Setup
- Connect the Nu-Link-Me connector (Pads: ICE 5V/DATA/CLK/RST/GND) to the PC's USB port using a USB cable.
- Connect the CN1 (U/V) connector and the Pads: 5V/H+/H-/GND (Hall Sensor) to the motor's U/V terminals and Hall sensor.
- Connect the CN2 connector to the power supply.
- Find the "Template.uvprojx" project file in the example code folder.

- Open and execute the project in the toolchain. For detailed settings, please refer to " UM_NuMotor NK-NM18402L_Rev0.01".
- After setting all the required parameters, turn on the power supply to run the motor and verify its performance.
