PV Energy Storage and 2 kW Bi-Directional Inverter
This reference design uses a single NuMicro® M483SGCAE microcontroller to implement single-phase bi-directional inverter and PV energy storage control based on three active full-bridge and SEPIC buck-boost topology principle. It supports three operating modes:This reference design uses a single NuMicro® M483SGCAE microcontroller to implement single-phase bi-directional inverter and PV energy storage control based on three active full-bridge and SEPIC buck-boost topology principle. It supports three operating modes:
1.AC charging mode, where the grid acts as the source to control PFC + LLC for batterycharging;
2. Discharging mode, where the battery acts as the source to control QLC and the inverter bridge to output power for AC loads;
3. DC buck-boost charging mode, where PV input starts MPPT mode for battery charging.
It provides high power efficiency with low THD, and easy-to-understand software are more attractive to power supply development engineers. Delivering a complete hardware and software reference design (including auxiliary power supply), which can shorten the R&D cycle and accelerate product launch.
