Bidirectional Inverter
This reference design implements single-phase bidirectional inverter (AC/DC) control using a single NuMicro® M483SGCAE microcontroller. The design supports three working modes:
1.AC charging mode, when the grid is the source, PFC+LLC is controlled to charge the battery
2.Discharging mode, when the battery is the source, QLC and inverter bridge output are controlled to provide power to the AC load
3.DC charging mode, PV input starts MPPT mode to charge the battery
- Features
- AC220V/110V input, 50 Hz/60 Hz - Inverter AC220V/110V output, 50Hz/60Hz- The peak efficiency of the whole machine is >90% in both directions - PFC/Inverter 30 kHz switching frequency - LLC frequency 65 kHz to 160 kHz - DC charging supports a wide voltage range of 12V to 65V - Supports automatic identification of PV/MPPT and DC source charging - The protection functions include: overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent/wave-by-wave current limiting, short circuit, overtemperature, overload, etc.
