AES67 Audio over IP Demo
This solution delivers an AES67 Audio over IP (AoIP) network voice broadcasting system built on the NuMicro® M467 microcontroller. The system consists of one M467 Master acting as the audio source, which encapsulates voice data into AES67 audio streams and transmits them over Ethernet through a router. The audio stream is then distributed to multiple M467 Slave nodes using multicast transmission.
AES67 delivers audio over standard Ethernet and supports RTP audio streaming, PTP precision time synchronization, and multicast broadcasting, making it particularly suitable for multi-endpoint audio distribution applications. Each Slave node receives the network audio stream and outputs voice playback with low latency and high synchronization accuracy.
This demonstration highlights the M467's capability in developing smart broadcasting systems, industrial voice notification solutions, and smart building applications, providing an AoIP solution.
