Arm® Platform Security Architecture (PSA) is a security framework that provides device manufacturers with standardized security design guidelines and verification mechanisms.
PSA certification defines three progressive assurance levels, from self-assessed security analysis (Level 1), to independently lab-tested security functions (Level 2), and advanced penetration-tested robustness against sophisticated attacks (Level 3).
The goal of PSA is to help manufacturers implement end-to-end security—from hardware to firmware to cloud—at lower cost by offering open-source tools (such as Trusted Firmware-M) and standardized APIs.
