High-Performance 24-bit ADC and Low-Temperature Drift OPA Product Analysis
Nuvoton Technology introduces the industrial-grade precision operational amplifier (OPA) products NOP912/914 and the 24-bit Delta-Sigma ADC product NADC24.
NOP912/NOP914 are 5V operational amplifiers with low offset voltage and wide gain bandwidth. These OPAs feature an offset voltage as low as 50 µV and a temperature drift as low as 0.05 µV/°C. They support a broad gain bandwidth of up to 8 MHz, with rail-to-rail input/output and a high slew rate. These features make them suitable for precision small signal and high-speed signal applications, such as voltage and current sampling, as well as sensor applications in industrial control.
Key Features of NOP912/914:
■ Low Offset Voltage
• ±50 µV
■ Low Temperature Drift
• 0.05 µV/°C, ensuring accurate measurement results regardless of temperature changes
■ Wide Gain Bandwidth (GBW)
• 8 MHz, suitable for high-frequency signal amplification
■ Rail-to-Rail Input/Output
• Input and output can approach the supply voltage
■ High Slew Rate
• 6 V/µs
• High conversion rate, ideal for high-speed signal processing
■ Pin-to-Pin Compatible
• NOP912: SOIC-8 (Two OPA channels)
• NOP914: TSSOP-14 (Four OPA channels)
• Compatible with mainstream OPA package requirements in the market
NOP912 (two channels) is available in the SOIC-8 package, and NOP914 (four channels) comes in the TSSOP-14 package.
NADC24: A High-Integration 24-bit Delta-Sigma ADC
The NADC24 is a high-integration 24-bit Delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter designed to provide excellent precision, conversion speed, and low noise performance. With an effective number of bits (ENOB) of up to 22 bits, it is ideal for high-precision analog signal conversion applications.
The components of NADC24 include a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), internal voltage references (1.2V / 2.4V), a Delta-sigma modulator, a digital filter, and a 49.152 MHz oscillator. To enhance performance and integration, the NADC24 also includes a 6-channel single-ended input multiplexer, temperature sensor, and SPI interface, making it easier to simplify PCB design and reduce component costs. It operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The package is TSSP20 (4.4 mm x 6.5 mm).
